BATTERY MAINTENANCE SERVICE

 

WHAT WE DO:

Our battery maintenance services include terminal cleaning, cable replacement and tightening connections.

HOW IT WORKS:

A vehicle battery has a range of important functions such as energy storage and providing power to the starter, ignition and other critical systems during start-up. Plus, it provides power to key electronic components when your vehicle isn’t running. Regular vehicle battery maintenance helps prolong your battery life, keeping all these components clicking, blinking, honking and shining even in the harshest weather.

A typical battery will generally last three to five years before needing replacement. It should be replaced when it no longer meets the manufacturer’s performance specifications.

Charging System

HOW IT WORKS:

An alternator is a generator of electric power in a car and is a major component of the vehicle's charging system. When an engine is running, the alternator charges the battery and supplies additional electric power for the vehicle electrical systems. 

HOW OFTEN:

An alternator typically lasts about seven years or about 100,000 to 150,000 miles. Some mechanics, though, say they typically see alternators last about 80,000 miles on these newer vehicles.

Light Bulb Replacement

  

WHAT WE DO:

During every Oil Change we check to see that every light on exterior of your automobile is working.

HOW IT WORKS:

If we locate a light that is not working we can remove the bulb to see if bulb is good or not. We can test the electrical system with a new bulb and that all is working

HOW OFTEN:

A typical light bulb will generally last three to five years before needing replacement. Law informant can wright a citation if any one exterior bulb is not working,
